Can you tell a bit more about yourself and what you do?
I live in Antwerp and work parttime as a clinical psychologist in forensic psychology, with juvenile criminals. The rest of my time I work as an influencer, blogger, content creator…you name it. I’m mostly active in fashion, but skincare and beauty is also part of what I do. I think people follow me for my colorful and ‘cool girl’ style, I wear a lot of trainers, a cap and never dress too polished.

Are you already familiar with the concept of 'space sharing'?
I don't know space sharing that well, but I've heard of it before. Nowadays everything has become so expensive and everyone needs more flexibility. Jobs are fragmented and flexible, people no longer do one job from 9 to 5. People have to switch much more often in what they need to be able to do their professional and  private life. We have the tendency to change our environment much quicker, do all kinds of activities and so on. You actually need flexibility in your space and environment, and with everything becoming so expensive, the idea of being able to switch quickly and rent what you need at the moment is super convenient.

How can space sharing be useful in your job?
Space sharing definitely makes sense for influencers, for all the reason I just mentioned. And also as a content creator, you need more than ever different places to shoot content, to work, to do meetings. Our job is so varied, you don't work with the same team every day at the same place. Also in terms of content, you don't always want to take photos in the same place. It's nice if you can find a way of changing and mixing things up. Owning or renting one place is just not an accurate description of our reality.

How important is 'space' to you?
Massively important! For example, light is the biggest requirement for me to be able to work, to be in a good mood and feel positive. Light is equally important for content creation as well. A space can be beautifully designed, but light is still a basic requirement. Workwise I spend so much time on my mobile phone, I really need daylight to counter that. I love colour too, but in my space at home everything is more toned down. Location and accessibility are also super important to me. I can't live outside the city because I have to be in the centre very often for events, meetings with clients, photoshoots. If I were to rent a workplace, it would have to be easily accessible. Not unimportantly, a place that is sufficiently warm is also super important, I get a brain freeze from cold spaces! I have to style, test, wear, change a lot of outfits for my job, and in cold surroundings you really don't feel like doing that. It's a bit controversial, but a pleasant temperature is very important in my job.

What's your experience on using the app so far?
I have not yet booked anything so far, but I'm planning to organise a closet sale and for that I'm currently browsing spaces at Cocom. I am meeting with other influencers to pick the most suitable space. We need a big flexible space, where we can put racks, mirrors, fitting rooms....
